Get your plaid ready—Plaid Friday is coming up on November 28, 2025, and it’s time to celebrate Houston’s local merchants and community spirit. Plaid Friday is our hometown twist on Black Friday, designed to honour the creativity and individuality of small businesses while encouraging everyone to shop local.
Here’s how you can take part:
1. Wear Your Plaid: Show your plaid pride while shopping at
Houston merchants.
2. Shop the Specials: Discover exclusive deals and promotions
from local businesses.
3. Post a Photo: Snap a picture in your plaid while shopping
and post it with #HoustonBCPlaid2025 for a chance to win
prizes.
Prizes for showing your Plaid Spirit:
Youth (up to 12 years): $25 Love Houston BC Gift Certificate
Ages 13 and up: $50 Love Houston BC Gift Certificate
All photos posted using #HoustonBCPlaid2025 will also be entered into a random draw for the above-mentioned gift certificates. Photos must be posted by December 1, 2025.
