Lunar New Year is just around the corner.
In Korea, Lunar New Year is called Seollal —
a time to slow down, reflect,
and welcome a fresh start with family and loved ones.
On the first day of the New Year,
Koreans traditionally eat tteokguk,
a warm rice cake soup that symbolises
renewal, good health,
and the beginning of a new chapter.
We wanted to share this meaningful tradition
with our Horsham
inviting everyone to come in, feel welcome,
and enjoy a comforting bowl together.
Beef Tteokguk £14 (served with kimchi)
A traditional Korean soup made with a clear, slow-simmered beef broth and thinly sliced rice cakes.
Steamed dumplings are available as a side for £5.
To celebrate Seollal,
tteokguk will be served for lunch only
from 17th to 19th February (3 days only).
Everyone is warmly welcome.
Come in, take a seat,
and enjoy a comforting bowl of tteokguk.
