🎄 Christmas Day Magic - A Horse Saddles Up for Tradition at The Fox Inn 🦊
Traditional Horse Walk-Through at 12 noon • Christmas Day Dinner (Pre-bookings Only) from 1pm
Join us as we proudly continue one of Sussex’s most unique pub tradition - a horse walking through our 16th-century inn along the historic bridleway that still runs straight through the bar.
Local rider Amelia Ward and her festive pony Fred will make their annual Christmas visit. After walking through, Fred will be in the gardens, where families can meet him and take photos in our beer garden.
Bring friends, family, and cameras – but please, no flashes.
Safety Notice
To ensure a calm and safe experience for Fred and our guests:
• Dogs must be kept to the side and on leads.
• Children must be supervised closely when near the horse.
• Please give Fred plenty of space as he walks through the pub.
