HCPD Free Lecture Series: WV National Cemeteries Project

Dr. Kristen Bailey—historian, genealogist, and author—will launch the second half of the Hacker's Creek Pioneer Descendants 2025 Free Lecture Series with a presentation on her work with the West Virginia National Cemeteries Project. This initiative engages high school students in learning genealogical research and writing skills as they honor and preserve the stories of Veterans laid to rest in West Virginia’s two National Cemeteries.

This presentation is free to the public and refreshments will be provided.
