Join us for our yearly fundraiser for The Lincolnshire Brain Tumour Support Group!
The Lincolnshire Brain Tumour Support Group (registered charity) was founded by my mum in 2013 after the death of my dad in 2012 from a Glioblastoma type brain tumour.
The lack of support inspired her, along with my dads Macmillan nurse and another lovely lady who has survived a brain tumour to create a support group for all ages of patients and their carers in Lincolnshire who are affected by a primary brain tumour.
All money raised will go directly towards outings and transport for the patients and their carers.
I've been running rides as fundraisers for the group for 11 years now, with our first one back in 2014! They are the groups main source of fundraising and we'd really love for the patients to be able to enjoy an outing of their choice with the money raised this year.
Previous money raised has enabled the patients to have trips out to Baumber Walled Gardens, a meal at Doddington Hall and many more places.

Meeting at Wragby Market Place at 11am to set off for 11.30am, followed by a scenic ride through The Lincolnshire Wolds, ending up at The Coach and Horses at Hemingby for food and drinks!
The ride is around an hour long and approx 35 miles in length.
Some parts of the ride involve slightly tricky terrain including narrow roads and 2 small fords; every size of bike is welcome as this isnt going to be a fast ride, however it may be worth considering these parts of the ride before taking part.
There will be marshalls to guide you in the right direction and a back marker, to ensure no one is left behind.
A minimum donation of £5 per bike will be taken on the day, and a Green ribbon handed out at the same time 😊
Route sheets will also be available on the day and I'll post a copy on here some time next week. Briefly; the route will take us from Wragby, through Holton cum beckering and the back way through to Hainton, then we're going to dip into Biscathorpe, Asterby, Donington on Bain and pop out on the Cadwell road, then dip back off this road into Hemingby.
