Spring Sound Bath (hosted on Mothers Day)

Step into the season of renewal with us at Little Switch Yoga for our first ever Sound Bath – with an absolutely wonderful practitioner! This will be our only special event for spring/early summer, and we hope you can attend.

No previous experience is needed, and all props will be provided to you. If you'd like to bring your own pillows, blankets, or anything else that will make you more comfortable.

In addition to mental health benefits, sound baths may positively affect physiological states. Research into the neurological impact of sound suggests that sound-based interventions can alter brainwave activity, particularly by increasing alpha and theta wave production, which are associated with deep relaxation and meditative states (Wahbeh et al., 2007). A 2020 meta-analysis examining various sound healing techniques, including singing bowls, concluded that such interventions could contribute to decreased anxiety, depression, and physical pain while enhancing overall well-being (MacDonald, 2020). These findings position sound baths as a holistic, low-risk therapeutic option for improving mental and physical health.
