Crate Escape will be holding a Live Quarter Auction on June 14th. This event will consist of a live auction, raffles and of course a 50/50 drawing.
Doors will open at 2pm so guests can grab some snacks, purchase raffle tickets, and start taking a peak at the auction items before we start the live bidding at 3pm.
The raffles, and 50/50 drawing will proceed with normal rules & regulations, winners will be announced at the end of the event.
The live auction, also known as the Quarter Auction is a bit different than your average live auction. The more paddles you have in the game, the better chance you have of winning. Each paddle has a corresponding ball. Every time you raise your paddle to bid your ball will be placed in a large drum with all the other bidders, mixed around and then a winning ball will be drawn. Remember each paddle has a corresponding ball, so if you have 5 paddles and want to use all of them to bid that will give you 5x the chance of winning.
Before you purchase those paddles, you should know the difference between the Quarter paddle ($10) and the All-In paddle ($50).
If you opt for the Quarter paddle, make sure you bring your rolls of quarters. Every time you bid with a quarter paddle you will need to put quarter(s) into the pot. The Quarter auction will contain 4 tiers of prizes each containing about 25 prizes per tier. Your MC will announce the tier when they are introducing each prize. You may buy multiple Quarter paddles if you wish,
Up to $25- 1 Quarter
$26-$50- 2 Quarters
$51-$75- 3 Quarters
$76-$100- 4 Quarters
If you choose an All In paddle, NO QUARTERS NEEDED! Leave the quarters at home and just raise that paddle every time you see a prize you would like to bid on. You may buy multiple all in paddles if you wish.
Don't hesitate, buy your paddles now as we have to cap the number of attendees we have at this event. Each attendee MUST purchase at least one paddle in advance to attend.
