One in Messiah welcomes you to join us for our Day of Atonement / Yom Kippur Service this Friday at 6:30pm.
Yom Kippur is the most holy day on God’s calendar—It is not only a time of reflection, but also a time of repentance, and seeking the Lord's forgiveness. It is the climax of the Ten Days of Awe—where we are called to sincere repentance for those we have harmed, turn away from sin and return to God in genuine remorse.
In the days of the Temple, the High Priest would enter the Holy of Holies once a year with the blood of a sacrificed goat or calf to atone for the sins of Israel.
But now, we rejoice that Yeshua (Jesus), our Messiah, became our final atonement according to Hebrews 9:11-12 which says: 11 But when Messiah came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, He went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation. 12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.
Come join us as we honor the LORD on His appointed time 'Yom Kippur' where we worship together, and reflect on the mercy we’ve received through Yeshua our Messiah! (This is a day of fasting.)
