This year's annual dinner is going to be something completely different: It will be held at our Hooksett location and will be an exploration of pairing tobaccos--not only with foods and spirits--but with sight, sound, and story!
The event will begin at 11:30am with a presentation on J.R.R. Tolkien's life and the significance of pipe smoking in his stories, while enjoying a straight Virginia Flake, G.L. Pease Union Square, that is similar to the blend that Tolkien preferred to smoke.
After the presentation, we will begin a "Lord of the Rings" marathon, including seven courses of food and drink, paired with twelve tobaccos (4 in each movie) that match events, people, and places throughout all three films creating a uniquely immersive experience!
Additionally, we will have a special hand-picked selection of pipes and accessories from Savinelli, Rossi, Peterson, Barling, Brigham, White Elephant, and Molina that evoke the characters and places in the "Lord of the Rings." All dinner guests will get 10% off all purchases up to $299.99 and 20% off all purchases of $300 or more.
