Seeking performers able to read the following roles:

LEADS:
Emma Travers – 40s, sharp, guarded, and running on fumes. On a second-honeymoon to fix her marriage only to collide with something truly inhuman. Range: brittle humor, panic, steely survival.
Jack Choi – 40s, decent, nerdy-handsome, bipolar and medicated; wants to fix things and be the grown-up. Framed by staged evidence, he refuses to confess and ultimately makes a brutal decision.

INVESTIGATORS:
Detective Clayton Pa – 30s, Hawaiian mix; pragmatic, skeptical, procedure-first. Believes jealousy and money before monsters—until evidence and firsthand encounters force him to widen his view. Dry wit, steady command presence.
Detective Becca Abayon – Late 20s, Filipino; intuitive, empathetic, sharper than people expect. More open to the impossible, rooted in family stories; drives the case forward with instincts and compassion. Slips into pidgin with family.

MAJOR SUPPORTING:
Mitch Choi – 40s, Jack’s alpha, swaggering brother; manipulative, cheating, and co-architect of the hoax. Weaponizes legend for profit and escape. Big energy, contemptuous charm.
Kyra – 30s, Mitch’s trophy wife. Hurt, suspicious, trying to keep face in a marriage long gone to shit.
Karl – 50s, territorial neighbor/guide. Grifter survivalist. Gruff, menacing, amused by his own scams.
Andy Daluth – 30s, LOTR-obsessive AirBnB host with cameras in his house. Awkward, needy, possibly more than meets the eye.
Tutu Carmelita Abayon – 80s, Filipino. Becca’s grandmother. Storyteller in pidgin, carries the cultural key to the Birdman and survival rules. Fierce, funny, authoritative.

SUPPORTING/DAY PLAYERS:
Hippie Chick (Barista) – 18, stoned-but-lucid vibe. Gives first in-world Birdman lore and missing-people context. Warm, wry, fast-talking.
Buck – 50s, bar buddy; blunt, funny, marriage realist.
Kimo – 40s, Buck’s husband; quick, teasing counterpoint.
Tech David Antipala (CSU/Forensics) – 30s–40s; matter-of-fact, walks detectives through stage evidence and bodies in the trees. Dry gallows humor.
Analyst Ray Matsumoto (HPD Digital/Audio) – 30s; precise, screen-whisperer. Understated, technical.
Uniformed Cop – Brief welfare check at the motel. Polite, professional.
Dispatcher (Phone) – Calm, procedural voice during Crooked House assault. Anchors the reality.
