Godai - Max High & Floteson: Live Music at Plantoem

Godai — the Japanese term for the elemental forces — is the ambient/experimental project of O’ahu-based artists Floteson and Max High. Emerging out of a shared interest in live improvisation, cosmic soundscapes and Kankyo ongaku (Japanese environmental music), the duo will be presenting their debut performance at Plantoem. Prepare for a dive into the light as the two combine avant-garde guitar techniques, flute echoes, electronic drones and nature’s sounds.
