Fund Our Future Campaign Launch

Fund Our Future is a movement. We're focused on building a fairer tax system so Hawaiʻi can invest in what our communities need most—without pushing the burden onto working families.

Every time we talk about expanding access to housing, education, healthcare, food security, or climate resilience, the same question comes up:
“How we gon’ pay fo’ dat?”

The answer doesn’t have to be higher costs for everyday people. Right now, Hawaiʻi’s wealthiest residents and large corporations contribute a smaller share of their income than many working families. That imbalance limits what our state and counties can do—and deepens inequality.

At this campaign launch, we’ll:

• Share the vision and goals of Fund Our Future
• Talk story about what’s broken in our tax system
• Highlight policy solutions that ask those with the most to pay their fair share
• Invite you into the movement to help shape what comes next
