Dragon's Back Trail
Shek O, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong (SAR)
In 2024, Hong Kong lost 1,100 lives to suicide.
This September, for Suicide Awareness Month we walk for those we’ve lost, for those who survived and to be there to help more people feel hopeful about the future.
We are heading to the stunning Dragon's back and we need 100 incredible people to join us!
If you’re a suicide survivor, you’ve lost someone to suicide, or purely just a huge advocate for mental health and suicide awareness, this event is for you.
100 people. 11km each. Together we will walk 1,100km - one for every life lost.
Join us for our very first Dragon’s Back, Heart’s Journey | 龍脊心路 and hike through the breathtaking scenery with space to talk openly.
Dragon’s Back, Heart’s Journey | 龍脊心路
We chose the name 「龍脊心路」because it captures the heart of our mission: to walk beside one another through the ups and downs of life, especially when things get tough.
龍脊 (Dragon’s Back) is one of Hong Kong’s most iconic trails, with a winding ridge that rises and falls like the emotional journeys many of us go through. It’s not something to conquer, but something to move through together. In Chinese culture, the dragon is a powerful symbol of strength and protection, representing the people who show up to help carry our pain.
心路 (Heart’s Path) refers to the inner journey we take after loss or struggle, the emotional path we walk as we learn to live with what’s changed. Some days that path is steady. Other days it’s shaky. But every step is valid. And no one should have to walk it alone.
Let’s walk together.
Our Partner for this event are BIX, BIX is a Hong Kong-based brand making high-quality hydration, recovery, and performance products for people who move. Backed by science and trusted by athletes, our tablets and gels are made to fuel real efforts — whether you're racing, training, or just showing up.
