Sutton String Band, hailing from the Naples Valley of New York, can be found around one mic keeping traditional bluegrass alive in the modern day. You can expect to hear faithful renditions of old traditionals and gospel hymns, along with your favorite covers from the bluegrass songbook. The band includes Finger Lakes musicians Oscar Fargnoli, Brandon Masur, Scott Calpin, Chris Stevens, and Jake Penna, and often features a guest fiddler. Sutton String Band is devoted to preserving the oral tradition, playing music for both good times and hard times.
