Winter Solstice Sunset Paddle

Take a relaxing kayaking journey as the sun sets over the wild Chassahowitzka River. Enjoy scenic views of this undeveloped landscape while the sky puts on a colorful show. Manatees are on the move and we will likely see them along the way.

The winter solstice is the shortest day and longest night of the year. It marks the “turning point” when the sun begins its slow return and daylight starts increasing again. Many cultures see it as a symbol of renewal, reflection, and the start of a new seasonal cycle.
