The Silver Lining Labyrinth Tour - Pittsburgh
The Silver Lining Labyrinth Tour Bus is making an extended stop in the Point Breeze neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA! We are partnering with the Pittsburgh New Church and School for a Friday evening of connection, community building, walking labyrinths, and musical entertainment—and a Saturday of open labyrinth walks, labyrinth crafts, and time to check out the Silver Lining Mobile Labyrinth Lab during a community yard sale!!!
These events are FREE to attend and participate! Please consider giving a donation to help defray the cost of the tour, and to help Golden Thread Labyrinths bring the labyrinth and healthy community to more people!

What you can expect on Friday 7-9pm
- Labyrinth Education
- A brief introduction to the labyrinth, its 3,500 year history, and the modern resurgence of interest and uses of the labyrinth!
- “Labyrinthography” - learn how to draw a labyrinth!
- A talk titled “Using the Labyrinth to Let Go” by Labyrinth Artist and Designer, Alan Cowley!
- A Community Labyrinth Walk!
- We will facilitate a purposeful group labyrinth walk on 3 canvas labyrinths!
- 30ft - 7 circuit Medieval “Chartres” Style Labyrinth
- 28ft - 7 circuit Partnership Labyrinth
- 10ft - 4 circuit Personal Pace-Setter Labyrinth
Live Music & Open Labyrinth Walking
- The Silver Lining Stage will be set up for a good old fashioned community singalong and open mic! (Do you have a song, short story, or poem that you would like to share in the spirit of community? Message me and let me know!)
- This will also be a good time to walk the labyrinths at your own pace, and with your own intentions.
What you can expect on Saturday 10am-3pm
Come hang out with Golden-Thread Labyrinths’ founder Alan Cowley, take a walk on one of our canvas labyrinths; check out all of the labyrinth art and lore in the Silver Lining Labyrinth Lab Bus; and do a labyrinth craft as we will be set up all day at the Community yard sale being hosted at the church.
