This Sunday Pop Up is Hatha style class.
Our lifestyle of too much sitting has an impact on our posture and health. We become very short in the front of our body. This creates tension in the back of the body and pain due to muscles being over stretched. This class is to learn where you are tight in the front of your body, we will stretch throughout the whole of the front muscles but strengthen in the back muscles. Opening up allows our breath to be deeper, our posture to improve, our head to sit on top of the spine which stops that heavy head pulling on our upper back muscles.
Opening the front also allows our back bends to deepen, our shoulder range of movement to improve and our hips to release.
This class will be a Hatha class with some breath practice and mindfulness to it.
The class is a small class allowing plenty of time for adjustments and modifications, giving you insight to improve your practice.
