THE JERSEY-GROWN MATT O’REE BAND (MOB) RETURNS TO THE BELL THEATRE AT BELL WORKS FOR ANOTHER EXCITING HOMETOWN SHOW, AN ELECTRIC BLUES ROCK CLIMB UP THE STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN!
Led by Matt's unparalleled award-winning guitar playing and Eryn's soulful vocals, MOB WILL OPEN WITH A SET OF ORIGINAL SONGS FOLLOWED BY A BRILLIANTLY PERFORMED SET OF LED ZEPPELIN TUNES, taking fans on a ride they haven't seen or heard at this intensity since the 1970s! It's just like revisiting those first Zeppelin concerts at NYC's Madison Square Garden! With their collective influences and talent at the helm, the band's original songs are true blues rock n' roll featuring Matt's ripping guitar and gritty vocals, Eryn's powerful wail and impressive range, both technically and stylistically, the pair's off-the-charts vocal chemistry, Layonne Holmes' soulful back-up vocals, Lex Lehman's smooth bass tones, Matt Wade's colorful keys and THE John Hummel's behind-the-beat Bonhamesque drums.
MOB combines the influences of Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix, Bad Company, Deep Purple, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, ZZ Top, and Rush, just to name a few. They've taken all these diverse elements and forged their own unique true blues rock and roll sound, earning them a massive fan base that includes people like Bruce Springsteen, David Bryan of Bon Jovi, Steve Cropper of Booker T and the MG's, John Popper of Blues Traveler, Bernie Worrell of Parliament-Funkadelic, and Hubert Sumlin all of whom performed on the band's "classic" album, Brotherhood.
