MARSOC service members (males) are invited to start their morning in stillness and strength at Soundside Park in Surf City, with a unique experience designed to challenge the body and calm the mind.
This 2-hour session—offered through a collaboration between Alpha Wave Project and Interwoven Camp Lejeune—blends breath-led movement and cold exposure to help regulate stress and reconnect with the body.
The morning begins with grounding yoga led by Angelic Elrod to prepare service members physically and mentally for the next phase: guided breathwork with Dave Brown of Alpha Wave Project, followed by a cold plunge.
Rooted in the principles of Wim Hof breathwork, the session recreates the adrenal spike of high-stress situations, then teaches tools to restore calm and build resilience.
This is more than a wellness morning—it’s a practice in presence, vulnerability, and nervous system regulation, tailored for the demands faced by MARSOC operators.
