Learn more about mixed media art and explore texture mediums in the Mixed Media Pumpkin Workshop with instructor Jennifer Smythe. This fun workshop will combine painting and collage to create a beautiful one-of-a-kind autumn pumpkin! Jennifer will demonstrate how to manipulate different mediums to achieve a unique, individualized look!
All materials are provided; participants are encouraged to bring personal items to incorporate as sentimental elements of their pumpkin. Examples include jewelry, buttons, pressed flowers, wrapping paper, and ribbon.
Please note- this is a two session workshop! During the first session, participants will build up layered textures of the pumpkin. The second session will include painting and adding finishing touches.
All supplies and materials are included in the fee of $60.
Age 14 to adult. Intermediate skill level.

Artist/instructor Jennifer Smythe, has been teaching art to adults and children since 2016. Her teaching style guides students through the process step-by-step, a methodology she perfected through years of leading paint parties. She believes art can heal hearts and that everyone has the talent to create something wonderful. Her own art reflects her interest in nature, particularly flowers. She enjoys using different textures and found objects to enhance her artwork.
