Wool & Wonder: Felting Holiday Ornaments with Local Fleece - Age 10+

Craft a heartfelt keepsake using wool from Beaver Brook’s own flock of Finnish Landrace Sheep, full of rustic charm. In this cozy, hands-on workshop led by Homestead Manager Ali Farquhar, you’ll learn dry and wet felting techniques to create your own unique holiday ornament. Discover how native plants can be used to dye wool naturally, and finish the day with a special meet-and-greet with our woolly residents: Bramble, Merribelle, and Skye.

This class is suited for children 10 and older. The needles can be sharp.
