SWM APA is proud to announce our 2026 Masters Tournament!
Join us on Saturday, January 31st, at Black River Billiards for an exciting day of competition.
🕚 Doors Open: 11:00 AM
🎱 Start Time: 12:00 PM (noon)
💵 Entry Fee: $75/player
📍 Location: Black River Billiards
🎟 Format: Modified Single Elimination
🏆 Prize
The winning team will advance to Las Vegas for the APA Players Championship
April 28 – May 1, 2026!
👥 Team Structure
Each Master's team will consist of 3–4 players, with 3 playing each match:
1 High-Skill Level Player
SL 7 in 8-Ball and/or SL 8–9 in 9-Ball
2–3 Additional Players
SL 7 or lower in 9-Ball
SL 6 or lower in 8-Ball
Skill level based on your highest between 8-Ball & 9-Ball.
🎱 Match Format
Each individual match is a race to 7, consisting of:
Five (5) games of 8-Ball, and
Eight (8) games of 9-Ball
Once a format (8-Ball or 9-Ball) is chosen, the full set of that format must be completed before switching, or until a total of seven games have been won.
Scoring
Each individual match is worth 1 point.
The first team to win 2 out of 3 individual matches wins the team match.
⚠️ Equipment Rules
Jump cues ARE allowed.
Breaking down a cue or switching cues to perform a jump shot is permitted.
