Adult Storytelling Event @ Bowerman's on 8th

Join us for a night of adult storytelling at Bowerman’s on 8th, hosted by award-winning Michigan storyteller David Scott Smith. It’s like NPR’s The Moth, but with your neighbors – and way better snacks!

This evening's theme is "Holding On."

Story Prompt: Tell us about a time that you clung to something precious when everyone around you was urging you to let go. A high stakes time when you fought for something you knew was worth fighting for. That time when you held on too long … or when you let go too soon. A goodbye that never quite finished. That moment your body remembered what your heart wanted to forget.

Guidelines: Like The Moth, stories should be true, personal, and told in five minutes or less without notes. You got this!
