About the event

Book Launch: A Celebration of Maine Amphibians and Reptiles
The third edition of "Maine Amphibians and Reptiles" has been 25 years in the making and it is based on 20,000 observations from 3000 observers. Many of the people who created this book will gather at Fields Pond for a book release event, including a program that highlights the book’s outstanding photography. This book welcomes readers into the lives of the 38 species of amphibians and reptiles in Maine, and covers almost all of the species in northeastern North America from eastern New York to Newfoundland. Books will be available for sale and signing.

Maine Amphibians and Reptiles, Third Edition
Edited by Malcolm L. Hunter, Jr., Trevor B. Persons,
Aram J. K. Calhoun, Phillip G. deMaynadier, and Derek T. Yorks
