Sternwarte on Tour: Geroldsgrün/Hirschberglein

Auch dieses Jahr bietet die Sternwarte Hof einen Aussentermin an. Beobachtungen aus der Stadt heraus leiden unter der Umgebungshelligkeit, der sogenannten Lichtverschmutzung. Hierdurch wird der Himmel durch künstliches Licht aufgehellt und man erkennt schwache Objekte nur schwierig. Um dieser Lichtglocke zu entkommen, fahren wir an diesem Termin zu einer dunklen Stelle zwischen Bad Steben und Geroldsgrün und bauen hier unsere Teleskope auf, um den Nachthimmel zu beobachten.
