[UEH-CELG] Call for Papers – National Conference 2025 on Innovating Language Education in Vietnam

The College of Economics, Law and Government - University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH-CELG), in collaboration with the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences (VNIES), is pleased to announce the: National Conference 2025

“Innovating Language Education in Vietnam: Sustainability, Internationalization, and Digital Transformation”

The conference aims to foster academic exchange and collaboration in the field of language education. It provides a forum for researchers, educators, graduate students, educational administrators, and practitioners to share research findings, innovative practices, and practical experiences, and to promote collaboration in developing effective language education solutions for the current context.

Important Dates:

+ Deadline for abstract submission: August 31, 2025

+ Notification of review results: September 13, 2025

+ Deadline for full paper submission: September 30, 2025

+ Conference date: October 4, 2025

+ Registration and fee payment: August 15 – September 20, 2025

Submission Guidelines:

+ File name format: HT2025_AuthorName_PaperTitle

+ For full text submission (optional), link to submit full text: to be updated

+ Full papers should be 8–12 A4 pages in length, using Times New Roman (13pt), 1.5 line spacing

+ Full papers should include: title, abstract, keywords, references (APA 7th edition), in English

Conference Topics include but are not limited to:

+ Sustainability in language education

+ Internationalization and English-medium instruction (EMI) in Vietnam

+ Digital transformation in language teaching and learning

+ Technology-enhanced language assessment

+ English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and workforce development

+ Language education policy and leadership

+ Teacher professional development in the digital age

+ Other related topics

Registration Fees:

+ Participation fee: VND 800,000 per person (includes conference materials, lunch, tea break, and certificate)

+ For full papers selected for publication in the conference proceedings, an additional fee of VND 500,000 will be applied for review, editing, and publishing.

+ For papers selected for publication in the Vietnam Journal of Educational Sciences (English edition), authors will follow the journal's specific review and publication fee policy.
