If you are an artist on the go—off on a tour, visiting a new or familiar place, hanging out with friends—and you want to satisfy your desire to draw and add color to the scene in a quick and loose, quick-sketch manner, this class is for you.

A ballpoint pen, small sketch book or paper, and 3 colors-- combined with specific methods and techniques--will be all you need to get lively and colorful results.

For the beginner, this is a great introduction to working with a pen and watercolor or gouache in a simple yet structured format. For students who already work in watercolor, this is a great way to gather information for later larger works. We will work from life in the studio or outside (weather permitting). Alex will demonstrate step-by-step sketching methods, and provide individual attention, followed by an informative critique. Prepare to get delighted by your free-flowing sketches.



SKILL LEVEL:
This class is appropriate for all levels of students!

REFUND POLICY:
Ticket purchases to Art League of Hilton Head events are final. Credits or Refunds will not be given for missed or classes/workshops.

If a class or workshop is canceled by Art League of Hilton Head a full refund will be given.
