Artist Demonstration with Dorneisha Batson

Join us for a live artist demonstration with featured artist Dorneisha Batson, sharing her mixed media painting process, currently exhibiting in From Their Spirit, By Their Hands: Gullah Geechee Traditions in Art. Watch as Dorneisha builds a piece layer by layer using a combination of materials and techniques, and hear how she develops texture, color, and meaning in her work.

This is a casual, drop-in style demo - come anytime during the scheduled window, ask questions, and enjoy time in the exhibit while you’re here.
