ABSTRACT & IMPRESSIONISM: BEGINNERS & BEYOND with Instructor Art Cornell

$150; $135 for ALHH Members

This class is for beginner students as well as those more advanced artists who may wish to learn some new techniques in abstract painting. Combining color and design elements we will explore old and new approaches to creating abstract works. Using a variety of palette knives, straight edge tools, and heavy acrylics on 140lb watercolor paper, abstract designs will emerge. I will also explore the use of high fluid acrylic paint and ink with heavier acrylic paint for a different outcome.

I urge you to bring any work you have started for a brief critique and suggestions.


SKILL LEVEL:
This class was designed for students of all levels. Beginners are welcome; however, they should have a basic understanding of the medium they are using already.

REFUND POLICY:
Ticket purchases to Art League of Hilton Head events are final. Credits or Refunds will not be given for missed or classes/workshops.

If a class or workshop is canceled by Art League of Hilton Head a full refund will be given.
