Pros can test out new material, and newcomers can hone their skills. Most importantly, we can enjoy each other's company while supporting a wonderful community organization.
Musicians, comedians, poets, storytellers, magicians, dancers, and more are all welcome and encouraged. There is a large stage, and it's all ours!
Each performer will get 10 minutes, and we'll cap it at 15 performances each week. Sign-up will start at 6:30. If there are less than 15 performers, we will just do another round with those who are there.
Door prizes will be offered as an appreciation for those who come share the stage and give us their all. Not everyone will win door prizes, as I'm relying on donations and budget friendly items. However, every performer will get added into the drawings for door prizes. I'll put together a monthly calendar to show which door prizes will be drawn for and when as soon as I get that info sorted out, as it'll be adjusted depending on what we get available.
The venue itself has a wonderful array of games to play, all proceeds of which go to supporting cancer patients in passing for essentials while going through treatment. There are also snacks and drinks available for sale, and The Hillview Diner next door is open until 8 (I think) with a tasty menu. Merch will also be available from both the venue and from any performers who sell merch. When you support this event in any way, you are supporting your community and the members within it.
