Halloween Spooktacular

We want to invite you all to join in the celebration and decorate your campsite for Halloween! The Halloween Spooktacular will take place every weekend in October. We encourage lights and decorations at your site!

Park staff will judge all of the decorated sites for each weekend and choose a winner for the best decorated site. Judging will take place on the Saturday night of each weekend around dusk or just after dark. The winning site from each weekend will receive two Calumet County Park t-shirts! The park ranger or camp hosts will stop by the winning site on Saturday evening or Sunday morning. We will also post photos to the Calumet County Parks Facebook page so be sure to check that out!

Each Saturday evening we will have campground wide trick-or-treating for campers. This activity is of course optional for each camper. At check in each camper will receive a glow stick to hang at their campsite to show if they are participating in the trick-or-treat activity. Trick-or-treating will take place throughout the campground from 4 PM to 6 PM. Be sure to stop in at the park office during this time for a treat as well!
