Length of hike: 3.2 miles RT, considered moderate to difficult.

Description: Have you wanted to deepen your experience of nature but need an opportunity to connect with other people who are also seeking the same? Then this is the workshop for you! Join HCLT and the Blue Ridge Bartram Trail Conservancy for this unique offering. We'll explore the writings of others who have written natural history about this area, and engage in writing exercises that will help you become more in tune with your surroundings and enhance your experience of the great outdoors.


Bring a journal, pen/pencil, and any art supplies you might want to use in your journaling. Also, bring lunch, water, and clothing appropriate for the local forecast.
