Corn Moonrise Hike at Rhododendron Park

When: September 8th, 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Where: Meet at Kelsey-Huthinson Founders Park

Join HCLT for a magical evening hike to watch September’s full moon, the Corn Moon, rise over the Plateau from the summit of Big Bear Pen Mountain. Experience the breathtaking sunset views from the west, and watch the Corn Moon rise in the east as you wander through stunning trails. Led by knowledgeable guides from the Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust, you'll discover the beauty of the preserve while soaking in the vibrant colors of dusk and the serene glow of the moon. Bring your family, friends, and a sense of adventure for an unforgettable outdoor experience!

This hike is 3.5 miles round trip and considered moderate to strenuous.

Free & open to all.
