Meet your Wine Experts

Spencer and Ari Pedemonte are former West Coast winemakers with nearly two decades of combined experience. Spencer refined his craft at acclaimed Oregon wineries, while Ari, raised in a farming family, studied Wine Science at Oregon State University. Their journey through the world of wine has taken them from Oregon and Washington to New Zealand, Australia, Chile, France, and Italy, working hands-on in both vineyards and cellars and developing a deep appreciation for how place, culture, and tradition shape a wine’s character.

Their shared passion lies in understanding and celebrating terroir — the way a region’s climate, soil, and history express themselves in every glass. This Valentine’s Day, Spencer and Ari invite you to join them for a romantic, immersive comparative tasting of Old World and New World wines, each selected for its authenticity and expressive sense of place.

Throughout the evening, guests will gain practical tools for tasting with confidence: how to identify key aromatics and flavors, how to recognize regional styles, and how to build a vocabulary to describe the sensations and structure of different wines.
