Spring has officially sprung, and we’re celebrating the best way we know how. Outside, together, in nature.
Franny Reese State Park
Sunday, March 22nd
9:00 AM
We’ll be hiking an easy, approximately 3.6-mile trail (rated easy on AllTrails) at a comfortable, social pace. Along the way, we’ll take in some amazing spots, including Joseph Bertolozzi’s public art project Bridge Music, which uses the Mid-Hudson Bridge itself as the instrument. We’ll also pass the abandoned Cedar Glen estate and enjoy gorgeous views of the Poughkeepsie Bridge and the Hudson River.
There is limited parking at 285 Haviland in Highland. Carpooling, if possible, would be the best option. We’ll meet in the parking area and head out together.
Please wear appropriate hiking shoes, dress in layers, bring water, snacks, and be ready to capture some photos. Dogs are welcome if they are socialized and friendly. :)
Hope to see you there as we kick off spring.
RSVP on Meetup, please!
