West African Dance Class

Looking for something to move your body and lift your spirit? Come join us for a weekly West African dance class that’s full of energy, tradition, and good vibes.

This is not just any class, we dance in the style of the old Malian empire, rooted in Malinke tradition. It is bold, powerful, and full of history. And yes, we’ve got live drummers every week. The djembe and dunun drums will call your feet into motion before you even realize it.

You do not need any dance experience to come. Just show up as you are. Our instructor makes it easy to follow, fun to learn, and keeps everyone moving, whether it’s your first class or your hundredth.

All ages and all levels are welcome. Bring water, wear what you can move in, and be ready to sweat, smile, and connect.
