Here’s a reminder for anyone interested in the LRPC Junior Program. We meet the First Saturday of the month, October - April
Sessions are free. Every young shooter starts in Beginner before advancing. No experience needed, all equipment provided — just bring curiosity, patience, and a parent or guardian who can stay on site during the session.
Who can attend: Youth 7–17
Cost: Free
When: First Saturday each month, Oct-Apr. Registration at 12:30 PM, program runs 1:00–3:30 PM
Where: Lakeland Rifle & Pistol Club, 50-yard range, 2000 Lasso Lane, Lakeland, FL
What to expect in Beginner:
• Experienced Beginners shoot first to model safe procedures
• New Beginners observe, then get close supervision and hands-on coaching
• Safety is the heart of everything — not competition
• Medals awarded when accuracy milestones are reached
All firearms, ammo, targets, and protective gear are provided. Participants may bring their own eye/ear protection if they prefer.
Led by NRA-certified instructors and dedicated LRPC volunteers, this program is a steady ladder: safety → skill → confidence.
