About the event

Geology of Waterfalls: Lake Superior Region
The Lake Superior basin is home to some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the state. Meet at Copper Falls State Park then caravan to visit four waterfalls: Copper Falls, Potato River Falls, Saxon Falls, and Superior Falls. Enjoy picturesque views and learn about the geologic history that is responsible for their creation from geologist Tom Fitz. While at Copper Falls State Park, we will take a short hike along the Tyler Forks River to highlight the trail system that connects to the adjacent 590-acre Tyler Forks Community Forest.

$68: This is a fundraiser for Landmark Conservancy.
