From My Heart ❤️ A Message to Our Community
As many of you know, big changes are ahead for Licola. Earlier this year I was told my lease for the Caravan Park and General Store would not be renewed, and that the business I’ve poured everything into would not be purchased as a going concern.
This has been one of the hardest times of my life, but I’m still here, still standing, and I won’t stop fighting for what’s right. Not just for me and my kids, but for Licola, and for every small-town business owner who deserves fairness and respect.
But here’s the beautiful part, I’m not alone. The messages, hugs, and encouragement from this community have lifted me in ways I’ll never forget. You’ve reminded me that Licola isn’t just a place it’s a family.
That’s why we’re turning this into a Community Family Day
A chance to come together, laugh, eat, play, and most importantly support one another. This isn’t just about me, it’s about all of us standing up for the spirit of Licola.
What it’s all about:
Supporting Leanne & her kids as they face this fight
Fundraising to help with the road ahead
Celebrating the heart of Licola with music, food, and family fun
This isn’t just about a business.
It’s about home.
It’s about family.
It’s about protecting the soul of our town.
So please bring the kids, bring your mates, bring your love for Licola and let’s spend a day together showing what community really means.
