Lunchtime Organ Recital: Matthew Kelley

Matthew became the Abbey’s Assistant Director of Music earlier this year and is a renowned organ recitalist throughout the country.

As well as a performer, Matthew is an award-winning composer, with notable successes in the BBC Proms Inspire Young Composers Competition (2015) and the Isaac Watts Composition Competition (2024). He has been commissioned to write for the BBC Singers and the RSCM Millennium Youth Choir, and his music has been featured on BBC Radio 3 and with the BBC Music Magazine. One of his works, Morning Thoughts, is now published through the RSCM Press.
