Land of Lead and Silver: in the Allen Valleys

AVLHG are pleased to share information on our September event. Join Andie Harris, of the North Pennines National Landscape team, as she provides an update on recent work in the East Allen that has been funded by the 'Land of Lead and Silver' project.

See how new 3-D photogrammetry imagery in our area is helping record some of the dale's historic monuments and hear how you can participate in helping AVLHG and Historic England take photos of listed buildings across the East and West Allen.

This event will be immediately followed by a free public meeting with Andie, relating to plans for further consolidation works in the Allen Valleys. Attendees of the AVLHG event are welcome to stay on for this related event, which has been organised separately by North Pennines National Landscapes.
