Calling all heroes, villains, and main characters - it’s time to power up your cosplay and take the stage! By popular demand (and maximum anime energy), our Cosplay Showdown is back for March, and it’s going to be pure anime magic.
Schedule
1:30 pm – Cosplayers gather in the conference room beside the stage
2:00 pm – The showdown begins
Bring your loudest cheers and back your favourite costume - every hero needs a hype squad.

How to enter:
Entry is free. Sign up on the day at the Play by Proxy stall. No pre-registration, no side quests required - just your cosplay, your confidence, and your fandom pride.
What’s at stake:
Epic prizes, legendary loot, and bragging rights worthy of an anime finale. Win or lose, you’ll still be living your best protagonist arc.
Rules of cosplay glory:
• Cosplays from anime, manga, games, movies, TV, or fan art welcome
• Large props allowed for judging (stage use may vary)
• 2 minutes to explain your cosplay and 2–3 minutes with judges
• 1–2 minutes on stage while the MC introduces your character
• No custom audio
• No messy effects (no glitter, bubbles, fake blood, etc.)
• No acrobatics – keep it safe and stylish
• Declare any special effects on entry for approval
• Makeup and body paint must be sealed and non-transferable
• Family-friendly only – no nudity, swearing, or offensive content
• Respect the cosplay community – poor sportsmanship results in disqualification
This is your moment to pose, power up, and prove you’re not an NPC. Suit up, strike a stance, and step into your anime arc.
