2nd annual West River chapter cruise and gathering
The west river chapter starts its event off with an easy drive through the scenic black hills. Stopping for a photo at mount Rushmore and then passing by crazy horse monument as well! The cruise will end up in the beautiful town of Custer SD! A town founded in 1875 that is filled with history such as the black hill's gold rush!
The gathering part of the event will start right after the cruise! This year we are hosted by little toms mercantile! Big thank you to them for hosting us! Towards the end of the gathering we will be doing raffle prizes donated by our amazing sponsors!
Other things you may want to know
There are multiple hotels in Custer if you're looking to come from a far! If you are trailering your scout or truck, it will be best to stay in Custer!
You do not need to buy a permit to get into the state park for the cruise! If you are planning to explore more of the state park before or after the event, then yes you will need to purchase a park permit for your scout or truck!
Our events and club are 100% free! You do not need to be a member to attend our events they are open to everyone in the IH scout and truck community!
