Note about this Learn to Skate program:
At this age the most important and beneficial part of the program is simply the time the kids spend on the ice. If they want to be on the ice and just push a walker and not do any of the obstacles or other things on the ice, they are getting all the benefits still.
As the instructor I spend my time going around the ice and spending time with each kid encouraging them to do things that they find fun, and that benefits them wherever they are at in their skill set. This is NOT a drill oriented program, nor is it a program with continuous 1:1 instruction. This program is designed for kids to learn at their own pace, in their own way with some guidance and direction, and lots of different objects, and interactive activities to keep them learning without knowing they are learning on the ice.
