Our theme is Flow State. Flow state in music production is that magical "in the zone" mindset where you're completely absorbed in making music: singing, creating tracks, beats, or melodies, losing track of time and self-doubt as ideas pour out effortlessly and intuitively. We will learn how to work with recording software to create a flow state for your creative process, empowering you to create a recording workflow that encourages the creative flow state.

Aaron Handford is DJ and music producer of organic electronica, deep house & downtempo bass whose festival credits include Burning Man, Pachena Bay, Valhalla Fest, Burn In The Forest, Otherworld, & SubLunar and releases on the Visionary Shamanics
and Lump Records label.
A veteran of music production retreats, Aaron has taken all the wisdom from his various trainings and distilled it into a one day offering for beginner music producers to dive into the beautiful world of music production.
He enjoys collaborating with vocalists and instrumentalists to co-create musical journeys. His artistic goal is to forge connections between the spheres of deep house, downtempo global bass music, jazz, and world rhythms.

Nestled on 10 acres in the south end of Quadra Island, our centre is the perfect place to explore your creativity surrounded
by nature. Numerous trails and access to the beach offer bountiful sources of inspiration.
