Ted Ramirez

Ted Ramirez is a Troubadour from the Heart of the Southwest. Teodoro “Ted” Ramirez is an authentic Southwest folk musician with a captivating music style and sound. His music is a celebration of Southwest culture. His repertoire is a mixture of his original music, classic Mexican folk songs, and American folk ballads.

He was born in Tucson, Arizona – his family’s Indigenous roots pre-date the founding of New Spain, Mexico, and the United States. Ted presents songs with intriguing introductions - drawn from personal experience, and the oral and written history of Mexico and the American Southwest
