In this course you will learn how to create and manage a cut flower bed in your own garden; with the aim of getting a bunch of flowers a week for most of the year.
- Selina, one of the co founders of The Flower Tap, will walk you through the science behind cut and come again flowers.
- How to set up a 3x1.2m bed at home to enable flowers for most of the year.
- Walk you around The Flower Tap to show you examples of good cut flowers and collaboratively work with the group to help you produce a planting plan and sowing calendar.
- We will finish the afternoon with a practical lesson on how to sow hardy annuals, like sweet peas, allowing you to take a tray home.
- Finally no visit to The Flower Tap is complete without picking a bunch of flowers from the farm, with tips on how to condition and arrange.
Afternoon tea and cake included, and the bar will be open in the pub.

Please note that you will need to dress appropriately, as this course will be held in the garden. If weather is inclement we will retire to the Pub.
