Meet Danny Seraphine - Original Drummer of the Band Chicago

Meet legendary drummer Danny Seraphine - founding member of the band Chicago and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee. He'll be signing copies of his book "Street Player: My Chicago Story" which shares hilarious, surprising, and emotional stories behind the band.

Danny will be at Copper Cat Books on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 12pm-3pm. We encourage you to show up a few minutes early!

Chicago is one of the most successful rock bands ever, with a whopping 20 top ten hits including "25 or 6 to 4", "Saturday in the Park", "You're the Inspiration", and "If You Leave Me Now." They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.

Rolling Stone magazine said Danny Seraphine is "The father of jazz rock. One of the top 100 drummers of all time." Larry Thomas (former CEO of Guitar Center) called him "One of the top five living drummers in the world."
