60 Minute Science: Casting & Molding

Make your own T rex tooth! Join Western Science Center Laboratory Manager Leya Collins to learn how to make fossil replicas. In this hour you will have a hands on opportunity to make a mold and use resin to cast a T rex tooth and paint it like a pro! This lesson also includes safety procedures and an overview of the museum’s 3D printing, sanding, and painting process. Learn all of the museum’s replica secrets!

$11 per person

For ages 5 and older.

Under 18 must be accompanied by a registerd and paid adult. Ages 5-9 will need their adult to pour resin.

Registration required.

Minimum 4 participants, maximum 10.
