Heritage Open Day at the Lizard Wireless Station

Join us for a free Open Day to celebrate Marconi and the dawn of wireless communication at The Lizard Wireless Station. We're offering free tours, special radio demonstrations, family activities and refreshments including homemade cakes 😋.

We’ll be open for this special event from 11am-3pm on Sunday 14th September. When you visit you’ll be welcomed by friendly volunteers who, through short guided tours, special radio demonstrations and family friendly games and activities, will bring the station’s story to life. They’ll help you learn more about the fascinating developments in technology, about the lives the pioneers led and about how the station was used during the war.
